📺 Son of Critch Debuts on Netflix

Starting this Saturday you’ll be able to binge Son of a Critch on Netflix. Get your fill of Mark, Mike, and Pops whenever you like. This is great news for folks who got out of sync with the CBC schedule or just like their tv in binge-sized bites. What’s been your favourite Son of a Critch story?

💼 City of St. John’s is Hiring

Every summer the city hires over 100 employees for everything from recreation program staff, lifeguards to tourism staff for our summer programs. If you know someone in the market, let them know the deadline to apply is March 24th so get those resumes in early.

🏚️ Do You Own a Heritage Building?

Funding is now available for the maintenance and conservation of heritage properties. Whether you need new clapboard or just want to change up the colour, you could be eligible for up to $5,000 in funding to get ‘er done. Applications are accepted until May 1st.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Claim Space on the Mall

Do you have an idea of how the pedestrian mall can be used to engage with community? The city is offering free space to make it happen this summer. Spots are limited so if you have in idea, get it in early.

  • Know someone who’d make a great tour guide? St. John’s Walking Tours is currently hiring a part-time guide for the summer. Get paid to tell stories while you get your steps in!

  • The new JAG extension opens this weekend! Check out this sneak peek and let us know what you think.

  • Yellowbelly Brewery is now taking pre-orders for their new lagered Ale, Elbows Up! Cans available at the end of the month.

🎶 The opening weekend of the JAG Soundhouse continues with hometown hero Alan Doyle taking the stage. A few general admission tickets still available.
