đĽ Three Cheers for the Newfoundland Regiment
The new QMJHL team unveiled its branding this past week. Starting this fall youâll have the chance to cheer for the Newfoundland Regiment at Mary Brownâs Centre. The logo is heavily inspired by the hat pins of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and features a mean-looking caribou. While it would be cool to rock a jersey this winter, youâll have to wait a while. However, you can secure your season tickets right now.
đ§âđž Become a Farmerâs Market Vendor
Applications are only taken for a short time each year so if youâve ever wanted to become a vendor at the weekly St. Johnâs Farmerâs Market, nowâs your chance! Youâll have from now until February 28th to get your application in.
đ Keeping Up with the Joneses
On Monday, the French family from Dildo faced off against the Jones family from Montreal on Family Feud Canada. There was also a bid to replace Jimmy Kimmel as honourary mayor of Dildo with Jerry Dee and maybe a bribe with Dildo Dollars? How did the family make out? Have a watch over on CBC Gem.
đĽ In a Pickle
This week, after the 2025 city budget was approved, Councillor Sandy Hickman lamented the fact that there was no money set aside to develop an outdoor pickleball court. Whatâs your take on it? Pickleball has been gaining in popularity in recent years and the city has several options for indoor play. Should we also create an outdoor space?
